St Monica’s Fete + Giant Book Fair

Seniors Exercise Group
Come along and join the Seniors Exercise Group at the Hawkesbury Leisure and Learning Centre. Thursday mornings 9.15am -10am. The group is run by Lyn Campbell from Lyn’s Elite Personal Training. Lyn is a registered fitness leader and instructor. Exercise classes help keep your mind active and your body coordinated. Our class gives you the space you need to move around and use the support of a chair, if needed. The cost is $7 per class. Kurrajong Heights Garden Club
The Garden Club are off to the Sutherland Shire to visit Joseph Banks Native Plant Reserve and Sydney Wildflower Nursery. Lunch (self-supplied or order in the Teahouse) will be at the internationally recognized Waterhouse Camellia Gardens in Caringbah where a guided tour has been booked. The August meeting will be an Open Forum where you can discuss your particular issues with others going through or whom have gone through the same experience. Explore the Old Great North Road, which is one of the sites that make up the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage Property. Bring lunch, snacks, water sunhat, sunscreen and repellant. Sturdy shoes are suggested. Whilst the walk is initially uphill it has moderate grades only and the road is in good condition. All welcome. Meet at the park at Wisemans Ferry Kiosk.
