Allowah Day at Shaw’s Creek
Allowah Day is a partnership between local schools, National Parks & Wildlife, Merana, Health, Community Legal Centre, Muru Mittigar and local community members. Aboriginal students from local high schools and primary schools (years 5 & 60 come together on Allowah Day to meet and build their community sense of belonging. Students rotate through a number of activities including art, cultural walk, legal, music and sport. Morning tea and a BBQ lunch is provided.
